MFD shoulder patch

The patch itself is in the shape of the State of Wisconsin.
On the top of the patch is a badger holding a pick head axe.  The badger has been Wisconsin's state animal since 1957.
On the bottom of the patch is the Milton House museum.  The Milton House is located at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Janesville Street at the east end of the city.  It is a registered National Historic Landmark because of its significant role in the Abolitionist movement and the Underground Railroad in Wisconsin in the 1800's.  The Milton House has been featured on television's The History Channel.  If you go there to visit, there actually is an underground tunnel.   The Milton House is the only registered National Historic Landmark in Rock County.   You can visit the Milton House museum's web site at www.miltonhouse.org, or click on this link to be taken there.
